When it comes to marbled patterns they don't get more iconic than the Nonpareil. Its name means 'matchless or 'unrivalled'. This pattern was first seen in 17th-century Indian literature and is a staple design for most paper marblers.

The 'Nonpareil' House of Amitié design was created using a homemade marbling 'comb' made up of many fine metal teeth. The design was then digitally upscaled to better suit its use as a wallpaper.

Please note that although this pattern has some linear horizontal lines they are not straight, nor intended to be straight due to the organic natural flow and movement in the marbling tray.

The colourway 'Haze' is a gauzy soft palette for projects where you might want a marbled neutral opposed to something more colourful and bold. T

his design has been digitally produced on Eco Non-Woven Paper, responsibly sourced and made from renewable fibres. All inks used are water-based, non-toxic and environmentally safe - free from VOCs.

All House of Amitié wallpapers are printed by highly skilled, family owned manufacturing partner who expertly produce wallpapers in the North of England. Each order is especially batch printed to your required order quantity of wallpaper by the roll.

There could be very minor variations between different batches / print runs so please ensure to order the sufficient amount for your interior project.

House of Amitié is a premium-printed Interiors brand focused on the timeless craft of paper marbling, based in Devizes, Wiltshire. Amitié, being the French word for 'Friendship', is at the very heart of the business, founded by 2 childhood friends, Jemma Lewis & Angela Bush.

All designs begin at the tray in Jemma's Wiltshire workshop and are then translated into seamless repeats and developed into beautiful digitally printed fabrics, wallpapers, cushions, lampshades and other interior décor products.

Maintaining a 'craft with conscience' sustainable approach, ingredients used are sourced close to home with all products then printed and made to order in the UK by talented partnering print houses, small businesses and individual makers.

All fabrics and wallpapers are digitally printed in the north of England, with a focus on using natural or recycled materials, suited for a range of end uses, from domestic to commercial soft furnishings, upholstery, wall coverings and home accessories.
