Founded by Emer Gillespie — a former fine arts photographer and lecturer — the company began as a personal response to the lack of original, sustainable lighting on the market. From its inception, Spark & Bell has established a distinctive aesthetic that fuses Art Deco and Mid-Century references with modern sensibilities.
