Combining the organic and innovative Grain lampshades with the framework of Tamasine Osher's Cupola Poise pieces, the designs for floor lamp, table lamp and ceiling light are delicate and elegant yet surprisingly tactile.
The newly designed mechanism harnesses the tactility by allowing the user to easily manipulate the position of the shade changing height and rotating the shade 359 degrees.
The Grain shade hangs on the opposing end of the curved arm from a machine spun cone-shaped metal weight.
The contrasts of the materials, forms and processes create an alluring tension which is further heightened when the lights are illuminated and the timber becomes translucent.
